Bass Guitarist

 Martin is the Founder and Bass Guitarist of the OrientXpressBand in the UK.  "OXB"

When it comes to Bass - Martin is the master of the Funky Riffs

.Favourite Riffs include, Aint No Stoppin us now, Boogie Oogie Oogie, Billy Jean, Le Freak.

 Martin toured with "Sweet Sensation" and "The Crystals" along with Guitarist Brad and with Lead singer "LeeJohns" from "Imagination". Martin has played with Jazz Funk Band Shakatak in the late 70's and MaxX with lead singer Mark Adams (Dean Martin) of RatPack Fame. Matin has written several original numbers including "Different Breed" recorded and produced by Rob Davis. Followed by an original  fund raising hit for RedNoseDay 2009 "We can Help" along with people from the Communications world player Cisco. Martin's latest Original Song was written for OXB and became the Theme Tune of The 2009 R&R Carnival.

Martin formed a Rock band / Slow Hand with Trevor McGowan and Dennis Danzelman in the 80's along with 10cc Drummer Stuart Tosh, including sessions with Dave Oberle' of Gryphon Fame.

Brad  Rhythm/Lead Guiatrist  has toured with some big names in pop including Sweet Sensation,Crystals with their No1 hit single. 

Brad is an accomplished and versatile Guitarist who keeps the rhythms in OXB flowing.

Brad formed a Band with Singer Songwriter Martin Noakes and Guitarist Peter Jones. They met fellow bass player Martin reformed and set out across the UK playing at all the top night spots with the Shy Lawyer Band. Followed by The Crystals tour and then "Sweet Sensation" who had a No1 hit with Sad Sweet Dreamer.

OXB Keyboards play a big part in the OXB Sound

Mick Rose Professional Musician has Complimented OXB  with Full Digital Keyboard Sounds to enhance the band to sound like the original tracks.

Chris Franklyn Professional Musician Song Writer back from his USA tour has brought his vibrant piano playing and keyboard skills to many OXB gigs and has featured in many of the OXB shows throughout the year.

Chris writes a huge amount of original music and is a very talented pianist, Chris played with T'Pau and Gloria Gaynor amongst other diva's in the pop world prior to joining OXB.

 OXB Male Vocals Roly :

To Compliment Jackies amazing vocal range, OXB invites male vocalist Roly to join the party and to add a variety of male vocal numbers to their repertoire.   Roly brings the front line to life with his Vocal range that enables OXB to perform covers from bands such as Kings of Leon.

Rock singer Dave Oberle.  

Dave is often seen singing with OXB at Rock Parties he also plays percussion and is an experienced drummer and vocalist

Dave is the original singer with "Gryphon" who toured with "YES" and performed a re union gig in Festival hall London in 2009 'Dave's presence on large gigs enables an even wider Rock repertoire and adds percussion, as seen here in a live OXB outdoor festival gig.

Glenn is the engine room of the band and apart from drumming Glenn has a music shop.

The OXB Horn section are always a treat.    

Include's Pro- Sax Player's Tony McCormick Johnny Sandford and Pete Malvern seen above, they are amongst the OXB line up and have plenty of sax appeal.

We have a host of session sax trumpet trombone players to compliment the OXB line up depending on requirements and budget.
